Madness!

The only reason why I watched this strange and violent movie is because of Christian Bale. He has become my fangirl crush of the moment. While it’s true I found him really cute in Little Women (oh and Samantha Manthis being in this movie was also cute, even if I still think Jo and Laurie are MFEO), I didn’t find him as hot as he is until watching this movie. And Batman Begins.

What’s great about this movie is the perfection of his acting. He was really convincing as Patrick Bateman, the vain and psychotic 80s music lover who is prone to having massive hissy fits that result into murdering people. In his mind. Or not. I like the twist. I hated the gore and violence but I shouldn’t factor that in since I was the one who chose to watch the film. But I loved the comedy in the movie. It was perfect.

The chainsaw, bloody-and-naked-but-still-hot scene was the most terrifying and disgusting scene in the entire movie. And although hacking Jared Leto to death was scary as hell, it came off very funny thanks to the cheesy music and Patrick Bateman’s procedure when going for the kill.

Christian Bale making kissy faces in the mirror was priceless. And he’s really hot. I can’t wait for The Dark Knight… and Public Enemies! Weird movie, but very good. Thrilling until the end!
