Madness!
Funny Face

Hmm. Ok.. Sort of. As much as I love Fred Astaire, he’s too old for Audrey Hepburn.

Blades of Glory (2007)

This was a really fun movie. I love the concept of male pairs figure skaters! lol, I find it really difficult to write something lengthy when it’s about a comedy.
Mister Lonely (2007)

Painfully indie. Diego Luna as Michael Jackson is SOOOOOOOO creepy.

Cinema Paradiso (1988)
Cinema Paradiso made me appreciate the magic, beauty and simplicity of movies even more. Toto grew up loving movies because of the excitement it brings, especially when sensual scenes are projected on the screen. He even manages to learn how to run the projector simply through observation because of his fascination with movies. For me, one of my favorite shots were the faces of the people watching the movies at Cinema Paradiso. The ending was even more classic, an older Toto all teary-eyed while watching the rolls of film Alfredo saved for him.I suppose he became a filmmaker when Toto grew up. But more or less he’s as detached as ever with himself and the “relationships” he had because something was missing. This is the type of film that has so many meanings and should be discussed in class. lol. Headache!
Anyway, I’ve been wanting to watch this movie since… forever! I ordered this on Amazon because I couldn’t find a copy anywhere. I haven’t checked out the special features yet. Loved it.
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008)
I was never a fan of Buffy, but I did like a few of the episodes a friend of mine made me watch in high school! :D She let me borrow her vhs tapes lol! And I also remember the musical episode “Once More with Feeling” so that was more or less a good reason to watch Joss Whedon’s web series, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog!!Oh, and Neil Patrick Harris is another reason. He’s the best thing in How I Met Your Mother and he was a pretty good singer in Assassins. He’s too cute in this :) I felt so sorry for him. Oh how I hated Captain Hammer. Ew. My sister just reminded me that he’s that stuck up guy in Blast from the Past. Ew. Captain Hammer is the real villain in the show. Poor Dr. Horrible.
I also LOVED the songs. My favorite is “Laundry Day”, such a cute and funny song. NPH is too adorable for words. :o I think they’ll be continuing the series and I’ll definitely look forward to it.
The Machinist (2004)

Wut. As much as I’m obsessed with Christian Bale, he does not look hot in this film. :( The story is so twisted. But in a good way. I have to thank (although…not really because watching an anorexic Bale was torture) a friend of mine for giving me a copy.
